There were these Nerf foam swords that you attached onto the wiimote for the swordplay on Wii Motion Plus. When you put them on, it would really weigh down the wiimote, make it hard to wave around and just hold in your hand, and they bent really easily too.

Pretty much every controller that wasn't official (anything that wasn't made by nintendo, sony, or microsoft). None of them worked right and were never as responsive or comfortable as the originals, and they all just felt really cheap....except for one wireless logitech controller for the ps2, that worked beautifully and thought was even better then the original ps2 controller considering it was wireless.

The guitar hero drums. i thought they were going to freaking sweet and spent my christmas money on the band kit. then i played them for two days and it reminded me of why guitar hero became so boring, ur just hitting notes when the game tells u to instead of actually playing music. also there are a lot of variation in drum beats

i would have to say the guitar hero on tour "guitar grip". i wanted this game so bad ever since i heard of it. the day it came out i rushed down to my local gamestop to get it, and it was great the first week. but then it got really boring since you cant even play through 1 song on expert without getting major wrist cramps, and to top it all off, it ruins your ds if you use the included guitar pick stylus to hard, before i got that game my ds was great and now 2 years later, the screen has so many scratces and it barely detects any motion anymore. worse of all, you cant get the 2 other expansion games like modern hits and decades without paying another 50 dollars for the same peripheral again, dont buy that game, unless your ds means nothing to you

You know, to explain this, I have to tell you about my childhood gaming experience.

Now like most 90's kids, I was really into nintendo. My two main consoles growing up were the N64 and Gameboy/Gameboy color. For another thing, I really liked pokemon. I owned red, blue and yellow (my favorite of the three) on the game boy and Stadium 1+2 (two of my favorite N64 games). Being a pokemon fan, I was very loyal to the anime. Than along comes Hey You! Pikachu!!!!!!!!

Safe to say, when I heard of a game where you could control Pikachu with your voice, I was HYPED. I saved up my money, and bought it on the first day it came out. I got home, put on the mike, played for half an hour, never touched it again. The game it's self was okay, even if it was just about gathering food and having pikachu molest random pokemon, but the microphone was awful. It was like the wii talk, Xbox Live microphones and those shitty microphones you get with a computer all in one. Lets not forget that pikachu coulden't understand anything you said, and you had to shout for the stupid microphone to pick up what you were trying to say.

I think it was that day that I started to stop liking pokemon.

I was just as disappointed with the Konami laser scope.

Sega 32x.
For some reason I really wanted to play Doom on my Sega (even though I had DoomII on my Mac PowerPC with 32mb of Ram). The thing was not really in stores, I had to get one used, it was a lengthy and troublesome ordeal. When I finally tried playing it the graphics and framerate were horrible. It sucked. Luckily N64 and PS1 came out not too long after.

Guitar Hero III guitar. That broke on me twice before I switched to rock band, whose instruments are slightly less balls. Also the game pack that came with pokemon stadium. I couldn't get it in the controler, and when I did, it wouldn't come out it play yellow version. And I would have to agree with chris, eye toy sucked. Natal will probably be bad also

Forgot to mention the Guitar hero on tour controller for the ds that gave you carpal tunnel everytime you played it for more than 30 minutes at a time.

The Game Boy Player. Utterly pointless.

i would have to say the wii wheel and the wii fit board, i prefer to play mario kart using a classic controller, and when i got wii fit, i hardly played it, my mum got it for me for some reason and i didnt find it to be alot of fun, especially the balance minigames, wii fit was just telling me how much i suck at balancing, but hey i just got punch out, so i could finally use the board for something!

the guitar things are worth wieners. so are the drum kits and mics and all the other shitaki that rock band/ guitar hero comes out with every three months. seriously, i tried the game and i couldnt help but think this hole rhythm shtick was better when it was called parappa the rapper. its the same thing except with this you have a whole shlew of things to put away that take up a crap load of room.

The E-reader. Swipe ten cards to play a game that lasts you a couple minutes. It's hard to keep track of a dozen different cards for one game. Plus if you even so much as slightly bend one card, you'll never be able to read it again. What a waste of a peripheral

I have to say the SNES power glove what a load of sh*t it was horrible and rarely worked! ^^ I burned it

The normal gamecube controller. The cord was so short!
grandinquisitor  - 2 months 24 days ago
sixaxis, it was only ever used well in Lair, but that was such a mediocre game

Ah those Rockband foot pedals. Absolutely shattered the first one on Maps, and then when i got my brand new Rockband 2 drums under my warranty, i broke that one and had used my warranty! All this under completely normal use too, what a letdown...
