I dont hate the game at all I love the game I started my second play through yesterday because I havnt played it since its release but now onto the point I'm playing on master difficulty this is a game that is hard on easy its realistic a few bullets and your dead no health regen and its honestly one of the hardest games I've ever played but I dont even dare think how hard it will be near chernobyl.
I'm going Mario Kart Wii. I spent a very long time trying to get a copy of this game (for some reason every store I went to was sold out... foreshadowing?), and once I got it, I played it more than any other of my Wii games. Until I realized that when I wanted to play with just my 4 friends, those 8 other guys weren't going away. That fact made me very annoyed. Not to mention the battles were in teams of 2. And the online multiplayer, for me, got very boring VERY fast. And now, here's my question, Nintendo: WHY? Why can't we just have our 4 friends together like we always wanted? And right after you brought back the N64 skyscraper...
World of Warcraft. Not that I ever liked it, but millions of other people do. I just think that it's the biggest waste of time on the planet. Really, any MMORPG is a huge waste of time.
The Sims. When I was young, carefree and had the time for it, it was pretty fun and absorbing. Even if for a bit you just got into a routine of eat, sleep, work.
Now I'm old, jaded and have less time, I pretty much live the eat, sleep, work routine and it's not fun, just absorbing
in general i used to like sports games now i absouloutly hate them. Why? because im not spending 30-40 pound just for a new roster and maybe a new feature which is absoulote crap.
Sonic used to be great at his times, nowdays it's going way too childish and saddly, the very fans of it are being forced into this lower level: the game isn't growing with his players.
Midnight Club. I tried playing it again after a while and couldn't stand it. Idiotic opponents, boring cars(though that could just be my changing tastes), waaaay too much traffic, and kinda clunky controls.
I know this is over used but Sonic the butt f**king hedgehog. At first he was on top of his game having the best games ever, but as soon Sonic to battle was made. He may I have took some speed I don't know, but we all know what happened next his game were shit. And each time an awesome trailer for Sonic came out when we played the actual game it was sh#t. I think the hedgehog has already been dead but sega has just been moving hime with fishing lines like a puppet..... A dead life less puppet. I just wish Sega will finally but Sonic out of his misary by having a game where his face gets blown off by a cock-able shotgun. So he can finally rest in peace. A cameo here and there and if Sega actually has a good sonic game in ten years they make a sonic platformer game. Maybe Sonic's Galaxy of some mario rip-off.
>:(
Halo 3, but hear me out.
One day, specifically, the day right before getting Battlefield 1943, I was playing with a friend online, and instead of getting us into Social Slayer (he can't get into big team slayer since he didn't have all maps), he got us into this MLG list. We played for hours, and I finally got a decent rank... all that time cursing, getting frustrated, and seeing my rank go up and down. Then I bought Battlefield 1943, and had awesome fun for hours.
Next weekend, we went back to H3 again and played the same list, and it hit me... am I even having fun in this? We played social slayer and big team slayer from my 360 (since I did have all the maps) and I STILL got frustrated... there was no fun at all. A little kid sent me a message saying my team sucked and that we should retire from Halo, and I agreed, maybe we should.
Halo 3 is TOO competitive... SO competitive, that you think entire world tournaments comprised of thousands of people would play this... but no, it's JUST A GAME, a game that forgot it first needed to be fun before anything else. It takes forever to log into any games, it's annoying that when someone logs out he MAY effectively pause the game for others playing and you have this experience thingy that goes down even if you quit because you got finally ganged up 8 vs 2 (which has happened waaaay too much).
In the end, BF1943 gets it right: It's mindless fun that knows what it needs to achieve: Keep you having fun. Halo 3 got it wrong: It wants to produce a professional type of experience... but... didn't I buy this to have fun?
This might be a stupid choice, but Super Mario 64, because it's almost impossible once you reach a certain point, especially levels where you don't even know what to do. It's a confusing mess. And the Red Coins make it and it's DS sequel the worst Mario games of all time in my opinion.
My sister, along with 6-year-old nephew, stayed over at my house for a month this summer. He loved playing on my Sega Genesis/Megadrive Ultimate Collection, specifically, Sonic 2. The main problem was, seeing as I'd have to constantly babysit him, I'd have to sit there and watch him play it. Plus the fact he couldn't get past act 2 of Chemical Plant Zone.
I offered to help him, since I'd completed Sonic 2 more than once, and I'm roughly 3 times his age, but he refused. Every time he died, he started a new game. He also refused to play anything else.
I used to love the game's soundtrack, but it became irritating beyond belief after the 100th time though.
He left about a month ago now, so hopefully I've gotten over it, but I'm not in any rush to double check if I have.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was so excited that Brawl had online multiplayer UNTIL I played it online.......its terrible and I ended selling Brawl along with the Wii a week later. Big disappointment. Damn Nintendo and their shitty unplayable servers.....
