for me the game i usually go back to is sonic the hedgehog 2 for the genesis, the only problem is that i lost my rv cable...what ever its called. but yeah the original sonics were the best on the genesis
Hmm that's a toughie. It used to be Perfect Dark Zero as multiplayer or bot filled matches just never got old for me but now I would have to say GRID. I don't know what it is about the game but I just love racing racking up the money with my sponsors. GRID is the best racing game I've played out of probably a decade of racing games.
For me it´s Solitaire for Windows. I play a few games every day since I discovered my first Windows 3.11 had such a game. That game NEVER gets old for me. Oh, and also Metal Gear Acid 1 and 2. Those games have something that keeps me returning to them. I wish they would make 3.
Suprisingly, Rugby 2004 for the PS2. I know, it's shocking. But I always find myself coming back to it. After my DS, my Wii, My PSP, and i bet you 5 bucks, after my PS3.
Oddly enough, the game i keep going back to is Dink Smallwood- a freeware action RPG. Its gfx are pretty awful, but its addictive as hell. There are tons of great mods out there too, and almost all of them have a perverse sense of humour.
Toilet humor+ sex jokes+ punching heads off ducks+ wizards called things like pencilhead, pimpledore, duckington = EPIC WIN!
Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams. I get a lot of stick from the GR guys about my love of NiGHTS, but no other game has quite as much magic as this game. Collect the stunt ribbon, soar upwards and round that stack of boulders as the snow falls and a Gospel Choir 'ooooh's to j-pop jingle bells. Makes me want to play it again now ;) Of course Sonic 1, 2, Sega Rally and Crazy Taxi are up there, but if I had to pick one, it has to be Christmas NiGHTS.
Oblivion.
No matter how much i play it, i will never complete everything. And then even if i do, i'll want to start again and beat it all with a mage, or a thief, or an archer, or any of the other mixes you can think of! Plus i just love pushing the annoying fan off a cliff...or into my sword.
will after playing GTA IV for 12 hours I go back to my old friend the PS2 and play TEKKEN 4!!! i never get bored of it and also I play FFXII ( Final Fantasy XII ) Its the best game ever you cant really finish the game their always another mission another Esper another hunt to begin .... another and another
theirs a lot of things you would do in FFXII WILL its my friend who always be for me when aim bored
I've revisited many games over the years but none have kept me as consistently entertained as Street Fighter. Anyone who disagrees with this choice is simply wrong. Hell, I still play more of HD Remix than any other game on my 360. So bring it on n00bs. Bad Worry is the best Ken out there AND YOU KNOW THIS
This one might seem strange to you guys, but I've always went back to Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I pretty much see it as the perfect game. The levels have an extremely high rate of re-playability because nothing feels better than executing a strategy perfectly, and on the hardest setting it seems that you can ALWAYS do better somehow whether it be by improving your time or not being spotted once.
And Devil May Cry 1. That game is as classically amazing as any game gets, and going through the levels and listening to the soundtrack for each area is a REALLY nostalgic feeling for me.
i cant stop my self playing the nes, snes or n64 playing some of the many great ninty clasics just makes my mind melt with with great memories of hours past but i have to add the fact that i smash ffvii every year it just has everything i want from an rpg with none of the disappointment i felt after playing crisis core. man all the time i spent in anticipation for its european release (just too damn easy with no real reason to want to pick it up and play again) i felt more let down by crisis core than i did by dirge of cerberus they need to make another worth while ffvii. well im gonna keep my fingers crossed in hoping........
