Metroid Prime for the GC. That game had terrific control and the story was excellent. I love how the story was told through the consoles with the Scan Visor.
Day of Defeat Source.
It is STILL the best team-based online shooter there is. Also, the selection of quality user created maps is amazing and the people who play it are mature and good sports (for the most part).
To me it's Guitar Hero, any Guitar Hero. I don't play as much as I used to, but every now and then I feel the "itch" to just play a couple of songs and end up playing for hours only to curse Dragonforce for kicking my ass, AGAIN!
I hate those guys :P
The Godfather is my game that I always go back to. It wasn't the best game on the planet, but damn was it fun to throw people into ovens. I also play the crap out of No One Lives Forever 2. Both of those games always keep me coming back.
Steambot Chronicles is the main one. I just love upgrading the trots in different styles to suit the task and even get addicted to the often poor musical rhythm mini-games. I think the characters are some of the best characters in any game.
What other game has a parody of the Wright brothers trying to create flying mechs?
Diablo II LOD...for the same reason my grandparents hit Reno and Vegas twice an year an play almost exclusively slot machines. There is just something about random loot that's makes it hard to kick. Plus all the free multiplayer is pretty handy as well.
I don't know how many times I've run through Symphony of the Night over the last decade and a half, and I never get tired of it. Super Metroid would be second.
I'd have to say any fighters that I have/actually like, that would be Tekken 5, Soul Calibur III/IV, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and as i'm still on a run of obsession with it Street Fighter IV. I used to play alot of Timesplitters 2 back in the day. I always felt i was the only one using the level editor in that game though, as talking to people about it now they didn't even know it ezsisted
I find myself coming back to Skate 2, though I've always played skating games long after I've cleared them of objectives and, in terms of the 360, achievements.
One other game I've been coming back to over and over, despite having 102% completion rate is Burnout Paradise. And if you know Paradise like I do, 102% is the highest you can get for cars. I've played it to completion on the bikes, as well, with a 101% rate.
No real surprise here, considering it's one my all-time favorite games.
Sly 2: Band of Thieves on PS2. I freaking love that game, and have beaten it countless times. It's just a lot of fun, love the story, the humor, the characters, everything.
Outside of that, your usual sandbox game affair (GTA and so forth).
Well theres a few Warcraft 3, Baldurs gate 2,fallout , sim city. Yes im one of the few computer gamers left apparently . meh what the hell include world of warcraft duke nukem 3d and shadow warrior and myst. See this is a bad thing for me I have way to many games I have not stopped playing.
I have to come clean here, I love Pokemon. I have a Nintendo 64 and if there's a game which never gets dusty in my library, well it's... no, not Pokemon Stadium, but Pokemon Snap! Whether it's getting that Charmeleon to Evolve or to manage to finally round up those Three Chanting Jigglypuffs, this game has endless possibilities. Getting every single Pokemon or having the best high score, you truly have to be able to "Catch 'em All on Film" to be truly at peace. And if that was too easy, I tried to go against Mew and his "Supper-Bubble". With hours and hours of fun and fantastic gameplay Pokemon Snap never leaves my 64.
PS: When I got bored I just got myself feeling better by throwing a dozen of Smoke Balls at Pikachu. Ah... The simple joys of life.
