I reinstall and replay Deus Ex about once a year. There is no other way to say it: the game transcended the genre, and I'm not talking about RPG or FPS; I'm talking about the genre of Video Games.
well, im always increasing my game library, and have several games i havent really gotten to play yet. so there isnt much backtracking. but pokemon gold and kingdom hearts keeps me ever faithful.
i would sayy.... hmmm...
GTA: San Andreas and the Sims :P
GTA, San Andreas because there's soo much thing to do, and im trying to conquer the whole Los Santos city, which i been trying for years, after gaining at least 2 territories, u always lose 1, DAMM ANOOYING!!!

i have 2 games i will play regularly: Megaman 2 and castlevania:SOTN.
Megaman 2 is just the best early NES representative of a milestone game. The gameplay, the music, the cleverness of its simple mechanics. I love it all and this game suckers me back into it every years or 2.
SOTN is for me the perfect exemple of what can be achive in 2D if you really put an effort into it. It KO's a lot of 3D games, even today.
Within the bondaries of this game, everything is close to perfection.
If i ever have to give advice for some retro gaming, these 2 are it.
Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2
basically the only thing i play on the ps2 except resident evil 4 and dmc3:se
everyone who has played any kh knows exactly what im talking about. its just so good!
SoTC-the game that demanded I had to get a fully backward compatable 60gig PS3 when I traded in my loyal PS2.
I realise it's a pretty well adored game by those who played it and that you shouldn't feel the need to play it through religiously EVERY month eps when you've seen all there is to see. There's no real reason for me to do so.It doesn't have any features that require you to keep playing at all so I can only assume what keeps me coming back is the noble, sad eyed innocent behemoths that I keep killing(and feeling like crap about)and the sheer quality built into the most immersive game I've ever played.
Well, that and the fact that we STILL don't have a clue what's really coming next from Team Ico. Oh Dormin!
actually the only game i have went back on more then 5 times is to play banjo kazooie (my all time favourite game)
Wanna know Why?
because i have a life, you 292 as i speak people need to do the same, why go back to these good yet inferior games when Rare made this masterpiece. Yes i said it and i have the hidden identity of the internet to say this. So really theres nothing you can do about it.
E.V.O. for the snes. No matter how many times I play it I always have fun munching on Jellyfish, getting hit by those damned flyers on the mountain, and trying to become a human. The various parts you can use to build your creature also adds a nice bit of replay value. This has been and will be my fav. game for along time.
