I'd have to say Oblivion or Killzone 2 cuz seriously? Zelda? Tomb Raider? Mirror's Edge? A bazillion other games that might have gotten good scores but are actually just another parade of mediocrity?Nah. Oblivion, Killzone 2 and The Chronicles of Riddick are fine for me thanks.

MGS4 and COD4. Which leads me to beleive that all of my favourite games are my favourite games because of a large variety of guns. RE5(20 guns), MGS4(70 guns), COD4(about 25 guns), FC2(25 guns, 26 including golden AK-47), the list goes on! (it really does!) my proof is that i remembered the above list from the top of my head. and seeing as my comment isn't on the last QOTW re-cap, i expect it to be on this week's. or i'll cry like a little girl and scream in your ear. and take off the last 2 sentences. and that one. and that one. you get the picture. it's in a rusty iron frame with the words 'i woz ere' scribbled on the back. yes i do know how to spell, i just thought it would be amusing. great, now i've typed too much. why doesn't anyone inform me when i start that i've written too much to distr-oooh, a moo cow.

I for some reason always go back to Mortal Kombat 3 and UMK3. I play it all the time on the 360, but I have UMK3 on my DS and MK3 on my PSP. I just can't help myself.

I also have a ton of old ps2 games and orginal xbox games I resort to playing when I beat everything and nothing comes out for large chunks of time.

As for things outside of videogames, I draw and paint. I also took like 6 months to figure out how to solve a rubiks cube with no assistance.

Silent Hill 2 for sure

I always go back to:

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun

The reason is that this is the first 'proper' videogame I played on the PC (That Barney game with the singing and moving USB doll does not count).

I used to love this game when I was younger (played a skirmish for 14 hours once, before the patch which allowed saving), for some reason, the graphics still look good to me, and I never get tired of building an impenetrable complex base of walls and turrets. I've played it so much I can the hum the tune of the next song to be played before it starts...

Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, any FF game.

Besides every now and then achieving a 6 stars wanted lvl on gta4 AND trying to get rid of the cops without cheating is maddeningly fun.

On the computer tho. I like Solitaire better.
Still play Starcraft and will play Tibia (mmorpg) every now and then, just so they won't erase my characters. xD

NHL series (Multi) Be it on Dreamcast or EA's latest bug-filled ice shaver - it's always hockey. Shame that the NHL 2k series has become disappointing.
A buddy and I still play Halo:CE (best of series) split-screen, but we skip the boring levels: Pillar of Autumn, 343 Guilty Spark, The Library, Keys, The Maw - Halo had a great, albeit shallow, story. Then the flood show up and I'm expected to believe that zombie-aliens are going to eradicate all life in the galaxy... how? How the hell would the get off the halo, if no one went there in the first place. Dumb. But some one did go there... I'd have rather seen an alien form from "The Thing", but that wouldn't fit the Halo FPS.

Hockey is great, Halo:CE is great. Flood, eh - not so much.

Damm Fallout 3 is a social killer!! Once i complete it I last like another fortnight before restarting all over again..just waiting for the next DLC so i can start again.....well if we get sick of wars and nuke this planet senseless then i think i might just get on just fine....

I always go back to a Half-Life mod called Natural Selection. It's a multi-player only space marine vs alien sort of game. The catch is that there are RTS elements mixed in for good measure. There's nothing like having yoru base being under siege by screeching wall walking, teleporting, acid spitting aliens.

I go back to, usually a RPG, like Golden Sun, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, stuff like that. I try to make my team better than before.

Mario 64 which still blows me away and same with Super Mario Bros. and the original Halo. I played through Bioshock 4 times on each difficulty and no vital chambers. Half-Life 2, Kirby's Adventure, the old Banjo twin-sets, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Resident Evil, etc, etc. Basically my first love games and landmark games.
