The future of the world's most versatile gaming machine

Words: Tim Edwards, PC Gamer UK

Indie developers will rule the world

The most exciting games in the world today aren’t being made by Valve, or EA, or any corporation. They’re being built in bedrooms by graduates on game design courses. Watch out for games like World of Goo (a cheerfully weird bridge-building game), Fez (what looks like a simple 2D platformer is actually a brilliant 3D puzzle game, where you rotate the world to find your way up a maze of towers), and the gorgeous Crayon Physics Deluxe (a puzzler where you draw the solutions to simple physics problems in crayon).
