once the nintendo gamer gets to the wii people say " the wii is for babys", or "all nintendo games are for kids", why censor when most kid would just go play and xbox and play halo instead...

people talking about the instances where they didnt censor dont remind them of anything they didnt take out XD

Thanks for pointing this out nintendo is very conservitive I wish they would open up more gamers that play more "crude" games every one loves a good mario game but they need to stop with all the mario "import sport here" sadly people help the problem so I think nintendo will never go back to there old ways like make a GOOD zelda game

I think that Nintendo should of censored some of the nudity and stuff, but changing "Oh my God" to "Oh my car" is just ridiculous.

It's amazing the amount of work that went into Nintendo's Quality Control back then. Now they must have censored out all of the bad words in their own vocabulary, AND all of the negativity, so they can't tell devs that their new shovelware isn't worth shit. Yet in a drastic effort to attract an audience, they turn a cute lovable Conker Adventure into Conker's Bad Fur Day. Yikes.

this is why i dont play nintendo games that much except for mario cuz nintendo only belives in family fun and non hurtful games they rarely have violant games and how can one censor MK.....thats just not COOL!!!!

This article makes Nintendo look pretty pathetic in my mind.

deposits gentlemen.

you guys are missing the point. Remember these are things which were censored in AMERICA.. As in the place which loves violence but goes up in arms over a partially uncovered janet jackson nipple!

Of course these games were censored.. I doubt it was just nintendo making pointless demands - more they were scared how the american public would react!

Well it's good to know that we can sensor a couple of cartoonish pixels but that there is next to know real censorship even on tv. Gotta love the USA.
