New York is probably the most unlucky city in gaming.

Ah my fair city I love you so <3 haha But really the GTA4 captured Brooklyn (my area) extremely well I love seeing the city in games and being able to point them out reminds me of when I first moved to NY trying to see the city all over again

Am I the only one tired of every game and movie taken place in NY?

In MGS2 you fight SOLIDUS atop the Federal Hall, Arsenal Gear wreaks havok in new York City bringing down the Statue of Liberty in the process. The whole scene with NY destruction was deleted after 9/11.
Thanks OSAMA!

@lava_lamp: yeah i probably should have thought of that, although when I typed in that comment it was about 23:30 so I was tired anyway and probably couldn't comprihend the fact that liberty city is just NYC with 10% more crime.

Hay guise! Glad you like the video. Lizzie and I worked super hard on it.

The song is "New York" by Micro Chip League, a late-80s industrial/rave classic. I made the 8-bit intro, the first few bars of the famous song "New York, New York," with a NES synth plugin for Garage Band.

Deus Ex was in there, a quick shot looking out at the city from the dock at the beginning of the game. If we left out your favorite game set in NYC, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive us... maybe we'll save it for a sequel?
