Sept 25, 2007
When we got the tip that Microsoft was throwing a secret Halo 3 launch party at their Silicon Valley campus, we weren't about to turn down an opportunity to peek behind the curtains. Our man on the inside met me out front with an all-access pass in hand. As he whisked me past checkin-lines and surly badge-toting guards, I noticed that they were handing out games like candy at the door. It looked mostly like copies of PGR3 and Gears of War that they were giving away to the excited attendees, along with wireless headsets.
