When they’re not swabbing the poop deck, battening down any un-battened hatches or doing any other cliché-ridden activity; the Straw Hat crew sails for adventure and most importantly, the One Piece treasure. However, every now and then Luffy and co. get sidetracked and duke it out with nautical nasties. Because good always defeats evil, we thought we’d give ya a sneak peek at the winning team under your control in the Wii’s upcoming One Piece: Unlimited Adventure. Anime, ho!

Monkey D. Luffy
As the captain of the Straw Hat pirates, Luffy shows his disregard for society with his wild vinyl vest and bushy capri pants. As your main character, Luffy dreams he’ll one day be Pirate King and defeat his childhood hero, Red-Haired Shanks. As a side, did you know that Luffy lost the ability to swim by gaining the power to stretch his body like Mr. Fantastic? We didn’t either, but that’s a fair trade-off in our opinion. Foresight is not one of Luffy’s strong points.
