Pardon the Captain Planet quote, but really, the power is yours. Even though Marvel Ultimate Alliance is the better game by almost every count, a lot of your enjoyment will be derived from your superhero preferences. If you ignore that for a second then it's obvious that the Marvel game is tops. That said, only one of these games lets you play as the sole surviving green Martian with super strength, mental powers, shape-shifting abilities and an Oreo addiction. Only one of these games lets you play as a bow-wielding liberal (with a fascination with Errol Flynn) that accuses his teammates of being fascists. If you simply want the best superhero game out there today then Marvel Ultimate Alliance is what you crave. If you're a hardcore comics fan then go with the characters that you love best. Now in the words of The Man, "'Nuff Said!"
