I was impressed by this article, kids have really matured from my time. If you did this when I was twelve, I probably wouldn't have been as insightful or observant. But a part of me died when they didn't know who Blanka was.

See. I'm not saying that these Kids are blatantly Naive/Retarded/Any-of-the-sort. It's just......It seems Spencer and Marcus have been more oriented towards the 'realistic' approach of games, then the contrary, Cell-shaded/LBP style of Art. It just doesn't make sense to say that Game is bad because of its graphics.

Unbelievable. So some of you "lost respect" for GamesRadar for posting an article like this? For doing something that benefited local public schools? For giving two kids the opportunity to do something that some of us would kill to do? You think that these kids are "stupid" (or worse) because their opinions are different from yours? That you are somehow better than them just because you have "better" taste in movies and games? That's fucking pathetic. I think it's been said but it bears repeating: Spencer and Marcus, a twelve year old and a thirteen year old, have demonstrated more maturity and intelligence than some people here. And to the mods, thank you for removing some of the more dickish remarks.
As for the article itself, I was genuinely surprised that they didn't recognize ANY SF characters. Granted, the franchise hasn't been very visible the last few years, but still. These are some iconic videogame characters

Cool thing for charity, if it happened once a year that'd be cool, not more often, that would get annoying.
Why didn't you tell them that you can't play as the Flood? You let them get their hopes up. Also, Halo Wars' simplistic controls ar ewhat makes it a bad RTS and C&C3 (for 360 at least) a good RTS.

Interesting seeing these games through a different lens. I thought their age showed when Spencer reviewed Left 4 Dead and mentioned it might give nightmares(thought it was pretty funny). I do have to agree though that it had an eerie atmosphere. Also the people getting so worked up over these reviews need to grow the fuck up. Berating them in such an pathetic and immature way totally goes against your assertion that these kids are naive and immature because clearly, you are too.

I thought the article was great and leave the kids alone they were funny, they shoudnt be verbally bashed just because they dont know as much about the games we love. Freedom o' speech ftw

yeah, all these guys saying, "oh, kids can't review games" are hideously old midlife-crisises trying to "get down with the kids". Kids can, you have a superiority complex. I'm in my teens!
