No offesne to them, but Gaming-wise, these kids are pretty thick. They didn't recconise a single Street Fighter character? I don't own a 360 or PS3, and almost have the entire roster memorised.
I'm 14, too.
The saddest thing is that I know far mroe than most self-declared 'Hardcore Gamers' a good 20 years older than me.

To all - Some have pointed this out already, but I'll reiterate: Please be cool. Having a differing opinion is fine, and if you disagree with one of -our- opinions you're free to call us whatever you want (we have thick skins, and have probably been abused with words you've never heard of). But don't pick on Spencer and Marcus - they are very cool, they are our pals, and they dig Ecco the Dolphin. So basically, you can disagree, but don't be an ass about it - if you are we'll -never- -ever- play games with you. In fact, we'll play more games with Spencer and Marcus while laughing at you.

It should be noted that Marcus, Spencer and I were very casually "reviewing" these games, so they're not to be taken seriously. Most of the "review process" was us laughing and playing games.

Im afraid my previous comment may have come off as offensive towards the kids and the article.
I enjoyed the article and thought the guys remarks were really funny and seeing the difference in interest between generations is interesting.
I acctually envy the kids. I would have gone nuts when I was 13 if I got an oppurtunity like this:D

Wow, so much drama on here with the "12-year-old" comments about our 12-year-old reviews.
The blatantly offensive comments are unnecessary as these reviews were all in good fun.
Also, SFIV can suck it. Yeah, I said it.

lol its funny how many people are saying kids shouldnt review games but out of the games here that ive played i pretty much agree.
(that has nothing to do with the fact that i am also a kid- 13, though so you can trust me to have adult views because of that extra year. i havent played sfiv, or any street fighter game really, actually the only fighting game ive played is mortal kombat on gameboy colour i used to own at that, not sure about cod's 8/10 though, i would have given it 9 for the great campaign and the addictive online and also the inclusion of co op and nazi zombies. cant wait till mw2 later this year. dont listen to 'em marcus nd spencer, everyone else is wrong, and you and me are right! (no i honestly think thats true im not being sarcastic) ecco the dolphin, really? a 10? judging by the picture, a 2 max. its probs the kinda thing you need to play and also littlebigplanet doesnt have good graphics? you serious?

you should hire these kids more often, its gives a humbling view that many of us seem to forget when we play our games nowadays. They seem to review the games honestly and without any of the baggage that can prevent us older kiddies from purchasing or even enjoying a game (ie internet console war games,media saturation etc) but I thought it was fun and funny. MORE!

Ecco the dolphin ruled.
I would have liked to see some even older games and gauged their reactions. Pitfall, Donkey Kong, and Super Mario Bros. come to mind.
Still, it is interesting to see some younger perspectives on classic games.
