@derrderr420 wtf? medal of honor my fucking ass. EA doesn't make better games than infinty ward. Even if they ever did (which they never will) it will not be a medal of honor game. Also COD4 is a great game so is CODWAW,But tell me are you not going to buy WAW because its set in WWII? If so your either brain-dead or fucked up on crack.
lisen up I made this profile just for this topic. call of duty WAW dosen't even campare to modern warfare are u 4real think about the whole game is like a remake of the call of duty 1 through 3 I mean 4real If I wanted to go shoot a bunch of old guns in old times I would have played call of duty 3. The bottom of the line call of duty WAW is not a bad game but compared to modern warfare it completely sucks!!!! I'm trully disappointed
I notice that everyone is forgetting that CoD:UO had a flamethrower, also... Personally, I think Call of Duty Four was alright... I didn't really like it because it was centered around some real-world stuff... the statue that fell when I shot it with a Mk.19 reminded me a lot of Huessien's statue falling. Oh gee... that level happened in the Middle East, also. I have a comment for the people who say "You know the outcome already... Allies win. Duh!". This is my comment; Did you honestly think someone would make a game where you did all that crap just to die? No... of course you were going to win. You were with Captain Price for Christ sakes! That's like an auto-win. I personally would choose Call of Duty:World At War, however, as I have been waiting for a good jungle-shooter to come from the CoD franchise... (although I would've preferred Vietnam much more as it had both old and semi-modern weapons) I plan on getting World At War as it seems like a break from the regular Tiger Tanks and Flak88s.
I like both games... Four for it's unique features and "WaW" for it's unique features.
Right i absolutely loved cod 4. but im choosing gears 2 over cod waw simply because it takes cod 4 and turns it into something ugly.
1st reason. i like to keep my campaign to offline and multiplayer online i dont like to merge them.
2nd. nazi zombies...ooooh thats realistic.
3rd. if i want tanks ill take battlefield 2142.
4th. multiplayer is too easy on cod after a while which just eans ill find waw too easy online
finally infinity ward nuff said
Nobody wants to go back to World War 2, we have played that many times before! What would you rather have, an M4 carbine with red dot sight or a crappy scrap of wood that is an excuse for a gun, seriously?
dude, if you think the characters in cod4 are better, then you haven't played WaW yet. Nothing gets me more pumped than playing a pissed off russian with a bunch of even more pissed off comrades of his fighting for their country
this is so dumb to argue over something thats easy to decide...we all know call of duty 4 is better sure the actual missions suck compared to waw but hell people everyone plays online now!!!and call of duty 4 online hands waw's @$$ back to it
COD has always been a great franchise, I now feel that COD "5" is the best of the best. Sure it uses the COD 4 interface and controls, but Treyarc has finally done it, by releasing a game that the gaming community can enjoy and be proud of spending their hard earned 60.00 on. Great job TREYARC Great JOB.
I personally don't like the fact of "going back to WWII". I've played waaay too many WWII shooters. I loved them all but Call of Duty 2 would have to be the winner of WWII. COD2 was a true classic. I played COD3 and beat it(Veteran was way too hard), played online as well (too empty, good but not fun). COD4:Modern Warfare would be the winner for me, although I'm suprised at the good reception WAW is getting from gamers. I played the beta and had a blast, but it was enough to move on. I am currently playing Gears 2, will play Left 4 Dead when it arrives then back to Gears 2 once I'm done.
