Gears win in every catagory envirorment a war torn planet based on egyption architecture goood guys a pussy master chief or a hulking pissed of mofo who tells his enemys to eat shit and die does chief even talk in game maybe not versus multiplayer but still beats halo coop and dont even bother argueing with the bad guys catogory grunts/drones jackels/snipers brutes /boomers i mean cmon halo fans just pretend to like it because of the hype but we all know it sucksand does halo even have a story we dont even know WTF the covenant are attacing us for and they need books to explain the rest hahahahhahahahhahhahahhahahaghhahhahahhahahhahhahhahahha and once again weapons in halo seem to pussy like they should be in viva pinata a "needler" or a torgue bow yeah that s a tuffy just like this pointless article and yeah udo suck at gears whoever was crying about the multiplayer

I think between gears and halo. halo wins barely and your gonna think, Oh he's just a halo fanboy look at his name. I just picked the name because I was bored. I spent hours playing gears multiplayer, but I spent days online with good ole halo.These games are mostly bout the multi right? So far halo's story isn't great but it is better than gears. Maybe another gears will change my mind.

Gears. Better story, more strategic - hell, I even found myself a little nervous fighting the locust because they were so much bigger and badass than the flood or Covenant.

Don't get me wrong, I love Halo, but it's just so easy compared to Gears.

But in halo run like a retard, shoot and hope if u hit somthing! and the story in halo... go somewhere, shoot some shit, and get out and gears you actually DO shit like in the 2nd one you have to make your way through a giant worms innards.when was the last time master cheif killed anything bigger than a brute??? oh and whats with the halo games? 1 was good, 2 was ok,and 3 wtf. and theyre making gaylo 3 recon and that gayass halowars cmon. give up, halo has like, 20 games and gears has 2. AND has as much people playing it as halo. shit, if gears had as many games as halo, halo wouldent even be in this debate!!

If you going to insult something, insult it right. First of all, Halo has a interesting story it's just complicated. It's hardly Tetris is it? Also, Chief kills a bunch of giant robotic spiders by jumping into them and blowing up from the inside, and i believe those things are FAIRLY bigger than a brute. And also, LEARN TO F***ING COUNT! If a game has 3 titles released and 2 still to come, how many does that make? No, not 20. 5.

P.S Stop insulting great games like Halo and C.O.D. If theres one thing i can't stand, it's internet spammers who spend so much time saying games are crap that they don't even play them.

Halo games will always sell well because the first game really touched the hearts of those that played it. Whether Halo 3 is better than Gears is a different matter. Gears has now built up its own fanbase of inspired gamers that will stay loyal to the brand. That's just the way it is. My own opinion? I think Halo really delivered something magical and Halo 3 is simply an extension of that sparkle. Gears is just plain satisfying to play but my heart lies with Halo.

Every1 is wrong first of all i used to love Halo 3 but then i was time for Gears of war 2 to come out and then i bought that. But the campanige for both are based on humans vs aliens but have to say that i love both games but i like Gears of war 2 it has better weapons, maps, characters, enemies and lastly the graphics are superb. Halo 3 too got more aviements in to help people get more gamer points it has good maps too herothic map pack, legendary map pack and now there making mythic map pack for some of the new aviements its one of the best glitchy game online for both are good... Hav to say both games are good but gears of war 2 a little better that halo 3.

I love both of these games but I've got to say that Gears 2 would win. Honestly, what's with all the jumping? And Halo 3 is only fun with other people. Gears 2 is adreneline-pumping, action-filled fun no matter what.

I have every halo game and gears of war game and I love them both but, hands down gears of war 2 is crazy, bloody, fast-paced, and don't lemme mention (HORDE) OH MY GOD! WHEN I PLAYED GEARS OF WAR 2 I WAS STOKED BUT, I WENT TO MULTI-PLAYER AND PUT IN THREE MORE CONTROLLERS AND ME AND MY HOMIES WENT TO WORK WE STARTED AT 6PM AND DIDN'T GET OFF TIL' 5AM WE PUT IT ON INSANE MODE AND WE ONLY GOT TOO ROUND 37! THAT HORDE MODE IS WHAT GEARS OF WAR BEEN MISSING! ITS VERY ADDICTIVE! I LOVE THE NEW EXECUTIONS ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU STAND OVER A DOWNED ENEMY AND SOCK HIM OUT! LOL! OH YEAH THE CRAZED CHAINSAW BATTLES! HALO 3 IS A GREAT GAME TOO! i would think that halo is better.. not that i don't like GOW , but c'mon , halo has such a awesome online play, an big arsenal of weapons, and a slightly better storyline, it also fun to look for skulls, or easter eggs, and what has GOW to offer?? a necklace :| . i know that halo's storyline is somethimes a bit hard to understand, but if you think to it, its actually pretty ''good''. and about those grunts.. ( and the IWHBYD skull) it makes it alot funnier, wich isn't the case in GOW.
