I like both games but i like halo 3 a little better. One halo has equal weapons when one Gears of war has the chainsaw and hammer of dawn Halo 3 has a more weapons than it would be equal compared to Gears of War 9 or 10 weapons also the seris of halo does not really have an impact saying that Halo 3 and Gears is next gen and Gears started out next gen and halo 1-2 where last gen so Gears has just as much advatige as Halo

Before Gears showed up i was still kinda enjoying Halo 2 but i wasn't overly excited about it. But when i got my 360 and Gears of War. I totally loved it more then i could ever loved Halo. Even though i still bought Halo 3 and played it awhile...i've never sold Gears. I still play it till today. In getting ready to play Gears 2 on Nov 7.

This debate was unfair(tho i have played neither gears or halo3). Gears should not have gone first all the time. Caus' with halo guy addressing every feature gears guy mentions, it make gears sound like a pile of crap.

And a Halo v Gears game would not show who was better 'cause both characters would be balanced or no one would play and the game would suck. Thats the other risk, that the game could be a suck ass novelty thing and be remembered long after both series are forgotten. But u never no, look at Smash Bros.

i liked halo 3 co-op it was badass plus who in the fuckin right mind wanted to finish halo 3 on legendary by themselves, even the biggest halo nerd wouldnt wanna do something like that LOL but i gotta give the multiplayer to gears, its original nothing the world has seen before but Epic has gotta fix that host powers bullshit for gears 2 plus halo3s party system works nicely which gears has to catch up, so overall its a dead even tie for me, why bitch about liking which one is better when you can pick up both and PWN at both...duh? PEACE!

Gears brought a new experience to gaming and Halo is a long running successful trilogy. Will people just shut up about this shit. If your gonna rip on something, rip on the PS3. Whilst I love Halo, I was disappointed by Halo 3. It didn't look like a next-gen game and was too easy. The lack of closure in the story was also pretty annoying.

Aside from the driving section, Gears of War was a refreshing change. It has better graphics than Halo 3, enjoyable weapons and makes you use your head more. I think the story is good and has a lot more potential than Halo's.

ok guys halo is better then gears of war it just is it has books,comics,5 halo games ,halo,halo2,halo3,halo3 recon,halo wars. thats 5 games from bungi. the vehicles in halo are way better u got a chopper that can blow right through a warthog u gotta admit thats pretty cool. and idk why everyone thinks gears of war is better then halo just because theres more blood and 1 good weopon. omg theres a chainsaw thats one good weopon in the game get over it halo has a energy sword that can cut through your fucking face! and if u put the gears of war dude against the arbitar or masterchief or even lol a grunt he would get wasted cauze the plasma pistol burns through skin so SUCK ON THAT GEARS FANS!
