Man films girlfriend playing Wii
The spectacle of Wii Fit Girl spinning like a plate of sexy brought men-gamers of the internet together in revered celebration of video sharing. Silence fell on the usual snark and fanboy bickering as all were hypnotised by gyrating monochrome panties of lovely. The cynics cried 'VIRAL!'. Nintendo denied any involvement. The maker of the clip promised it was genuine. But when ass is making the men dizzy, no one could really care either way.
The YouTube video has now been viewed well over 7 million times. Let's watch it again.
Real-life Guitar Hero 'played' with a bike
As if Heidi Klum's orgasmic turn in her undercrackers on the TV ad wasn't good enough, Activision also rolled out this pedal-powered stroke of viral marketing genius for Guitar Hero World Tour. So good, that even the whiff of big corporate bucks bankrolling the project couldn't spoil it. We're waiting for next year's Segway remix. It's got to happen.

US political campaign explained via the medium of Pokemon
Apart from McCain not winning, the best thing to come out of this year's US presidential campaign was watching the webs craft some inspired pieces of political/gaming content combos. We don't know where this Pokemon-themed skit originated, but it's a masterstroke, breaking down the frankly stuffy, tedious business of politics into a format that even a five-year-old could understand. Months of campaigning condensed into a 60 second GIF. Only on the internets people.

A most apt use for a classic gaming phrase
Like the caption states, someone had to say it. And it's nice to see a gaming colloquialism being put to such effective use. Never has it sounded so utterly appropriate.
