Another thing that makes me irate... How the fuck could anyone support Bush, after the EIGHT years of SHIT he has put us through? What you did coke too then drove your car into a school building and got away with it - Amazing! So did GWB! Look here you un-educated repubs... George Dubya was the worst pick, not once but TWICE. Two f'n times you voted for a man that was worse spoken than my 3yr old niece.(that's not a joke, I am serious)

Thank you, to all the republicans that finally realized that a democrat was what this country needed. Even if they have an alternate agenda... bastards.

lol, I tried to report someone's comment. It came up with "If you wish to report an inappropriate comment, please click the button below"

The "button" said "Cancel".

Sorry for the double post guys

@codzprc Woah! Where the hell did you come from dude? Not that I'm against your opinion or anything but seriously... By the way, the beginning of this article says, "But GamesRadar isn't the place to pick apart George W Bush's political legacy. No. That's what the rest of the internets is for." Pretty funny article though

What pissed me off was who the Dems picked to go against Bush. John Kerry seriously? And now he comes out 4 years later for the democratic convention and is all charismatic! I'm like where the hell were you 4 f****** years ago pal?! Were all his speech writers in 2004 f***tards or something?!! Godammmit!

Democrats are stupid. Republicans rule!
Geigan  - 10 months 8 days ago
No, Democrats and Republicans are stupid. That's why I generally hate to vote. You're picking which pile of s*** you'd rather eat, so it generally comes down to which pile tastes less like s***. The problem is the samples that you get have been treated so they purposefully don't taste like s***, making it really hard to decide since you know the samples are sometimes fake s***.

@codzprc,

"The ESRB will be controlled by Vanity Fair - you'll never see pixelatted blood again."

Some of us own PCs and play games (non-ESRB) on them. I'll touche for you.

"Best Buy will gain the monopoly,"

What are you talking about? Why buy stuff from Best Buy when you have newegg, Walmart, TigerDirect, Amazon.com, Sam's Club, Costco, etc, etc. There is more to substitutes in a market than direct competitors, ignorance of this brings uncessesary litigation to companies that are not harming consumers, a large marketshare does not make a monopoly.

"Some of you think that GWB did a great thing by declaring war on Iraq... Those that do, obviously slept though history."

Please explain your insults before saying them, you do not back this up and the UN is a joke of a body - corrupt, slow, beauracratic and ineffective - using it as a bases for why we should not relieve a people of their oppressors is a weak argument. They didn't do anything in various African nations in which ethnic cleansing was taking place, why should they be trusted in other arenas? Plus, the United States basically is the UN, they dump everything on the US anyways.

"By not shopping at certain stores, you have given up your freedom."

What? Since when is my shopping at stores that give me products I desire giving up my freedom? You just want people to have the same taste as you, and since they didn't and a store failed, releasing its capital for better use, you are blaming the American consumer. Would you support a bailout of Circuit City?

"He appealed to the masses because his IQ was under 125."

That was a myth that has long been debunked, he is smarter than people make him out to be. You like to insult the intellegence of a man you have never spoken to, that's good to know.

Also, Obama appeals to the masses more than Bush ever did in his campaigning, Obama talks populism at every turn, stealing from the (undeserving?) rich to give to the (deserving?) poor. He talks of government healthcare (disguised as 'universal healthcare'), of limiting profits of private entities (one of the prime methods of allocating resources properly in a complex market), of increasing government jobs (taking productive private jobs away), and various other populist slogans. That is ignoring his 1 trillion dollar program on top of the 700 million dollar bailout he voted for and the various other increases he is proposing. Giving out the candy to those who voted for him.

Elections are basically just choosing the "lesser evil"...
Great article by the way =)

So much flamebait (deliberate and otherwise) in the comments, while in the article, there really wasn't anything to flame about.
I just thought it was funny that GamesRadar UK wrote an article about Bush. Maybe Gamesradar US should get a shot at Gordon Brown or the Queen.

i lol'ed pretty hard at "i can speak only to myself" >.>

also could i request that the comments post in reverse order to what they are now (like the last person to post a comment is shown first) on some articles its pretty damn pointless to post a comment when only the 4 people who shovel through 6 other pages of comments are going to read it.

ya know there is a reason that most game forums do not allow discussion of religion/politics.

all your article does is incite arguement.
if this is the kind of stuff you all here are gonna write you will lose yourself a reader.
i goto gaming sites to be entertained and informed about games.
Not to hear ideology spewed from a soapbox.

as for all you Bush Haters...2689 days he kept us SAFE. Regardless of anything else..we have been safe.
I dont feel safe anymore.
