the girl looks like someone from cowboy bee-bop. if you know what that is. i used to be a fan a long time ago. if now, then she looks like Meryl Silverburgh from MGS4. at least thats what i think.

The patriot poster uses a screenshot from one of the DoA Xtreme games. The girl fighter is wearing an army helmet with camouflage, which is kind of hard to make out. I can't remember her name now, but i'll look it up later.

Actually the original Obama poster scared the living crap out of me. It looked too much like the Dr. Breen: Resist poster from Half-Life 2.

It's nice that the full-size ones are high-quality, large jpegs, but a vector format of some sort would probably make more sense. Particularly if someone wants to use one as a background instead; even Lanczos resampling a jpeg creates aliasing.

"Heroine": the principal female character in a literary or dramatic work

The "hero" of a story doesn't necessarily need to act heroically.

I agree. In fact, Master Chief: Believe was the first poster our designer created. However, we needed more time to fix it up to match up nicely with all the other posters you see here. It's now finished and has received its well-deserved spot at the very top of this feature.
