GamerBlipsWar seemed immenent. Petty arguments broke out across the boards, while juvenile name calling and nationalistic idiocy reared their ugly heads. Sadly, the quality of the photoshoping was the first casualty.

People were crossing the lines of good taste on both sides of the pond. All of a sudden, even the instigators were beginning to have a change of heart. Turns out, many of us were all for a "lite war," one where Brit and Yank could gently poke fun at one another.
Before the fracas became a full-blown mess of hate and hostility, cooler heads prevailed. What resulted was less a flame war of ignorant stereotypes, but two nations gloriously reveling in the culture of one another. We were still mocking one another, only funnier, and without offending anyone. You could even say civilized.
Maybe The Office jab was a low blow. (Gervais 4 Life!)
