This takes place before the actual events that transpired in Halo 3 right? What if this is actually john or better known as spartan 117 or if it still isn't catching your mental grasp "Master Chief". The spartans were a group of genetically engineered soldiers who were cybernetic or cyborgs which could be related to ODSTs that could of signed up to be augmented into the revered "Spartan Soldier", kind of like the way Cpn. America was originally a soldier who signed up for the super soldier program from the marvel series. This game allegedly takes place before the events in Halo 3 so it is a possibility that the soldier from the trailer isn't in fact someone "new" but perhaps someone who "Will Be" the all too well known Master Chief.

That trailer had a huge cheese factor in a sad kinda way. Im in love with campy dumb sh*t but come on.
Anyway I'm glad for the switch up if they do it right. Maybe a 3rd person cover mechanic. And yeah Halo fanboys will prolly suck at it if it's more stealth based.

jigglesbig, ill assume youve never played COD 4. well, stealth worked extremely well in that first person shooter (the mission at Chernobyl) i hope its not DLC, id prefer it to be a full length game with a story. DLC is always a hassle with them darn Microsoft Points

Unknown Wasteland, that isn't the Spartan 3 armor. Spartan 3 armor is available on Halo3 if you choose to put it on your character, but I don't see very many people using it. Now here is what I am waiting for, I am waiting for a game where it brings in the other Spartans who were stuck on Reich, when it was invaded. Also bringing in some of the Spartan 3s. Of course most of the Spartans are stuck on Onyx so after They blow up the first known halo ring, installation 7 and they get released from Onyx, the Defense planet(aka they have an area which is protected from the Halos) they get released, and return to earth. Maybe that will be the plot line for Halo4.

Vashct, I'm not trying to be mean, but the Spartan-II's were about 6 years old when they went into the program, and were never ODST's,and it was also after the New Mombassa slipspace event. But you know not even a quarter of people who play halo are mindless, i can play other games, like i still play Fable and plan to get Fable II but some people don't get it when they see that their friends are mindless and play halo, I hate those kids, how did you buy the game in the first place?
