Do a battle between the current (2) systems! Everyone wants to see a (two-)way battle between the PS3 and the 360! What games will you chose? Which will win: the noob with motion control (PS3 came out a year later), or the old-timer with a medical condition that sometimes acts up (RRoD, anyone?)?
Also, do a mini article about what generation (if you take out the motion control) you think the Wii is (don't say it is a Gamecube with motion control simply because you can play Gamecube games on it and it has motion controls, and DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT ANY SYSTEM THAT HAS TO USE CARICATURES INSTEAD OF AVATARS THAT LOOK LIKE REAL PEOPLE IS IN THE SAME GENERATION AS THE EPIC GODS OF GAMING, THE PS3 and 360). That article would pwn the Wii into its rightful spot at the edge of oblivion.

Basing these wars off of DOOM is like going "WELL THIS ONE GAME WAS BETTER SO HA THIS IS BETTER." No. You're doing it ALL WRONG.
Sure, you can declare one winner. But each console had it's strengths. In my opinion, the SNES was incredible. Great control pad, good graphics, and nice sound quality. Basing it off one game that wasn't even supposed to be relatively played on the SNES in the first place is like shoving ice cream in a disk drive and declaring it broken because it couldn't read the creamy, delicious goodness. Much of this applies to almost ALL the other consoles. I'm ashamed, Gamesradar. This is almost as disappointing as the cheeky photoshop articles you guys make.

Lol funny article. All I have to say is any 360 owner must buy the Doom 3 LE, its backwards compatible and it has Doom 2 playable on the 360! I have so much fond memories playing Doom 2 on my brother's laptop, which he brought back from college, and co-oping against the big Cyberdemon starting off with a pistol since we just got a rocket to the head!
