Fallout 3 Bobblehead Guide

Complete your stat-boosting collection with videos, maps, and detailed directions

Words: Tyler Nagata, GamesRadar US

For most players, this will be the first Bobblehead that you collect. Before you take the G.O.A.T. exam, head to your father’s desk and grab the Medicine Bobblehead.

Above: Don’t forget to teabag your dad before you leave

Above: If you missed this Bobblehead during the tutorial, don’t despair. Later on, you’ll receive a quest that requires you to head back into Vault 101

Evergreen Mills is west of Megaton, just to the east of Smith Casey's Garage. Head into the Bazaar and make your way up the winding paths. When you reach the pool table, head to your right. Stay to your right, and keep an eye out for the small passage in the back of room. Check the shelf behind the counter for the Barter Bobblehead.

Above: The Bobblehead’s hiding behind the lamp on a shelf

Fort Constantine is in the northwestern section of the world map. It's also directly north of the WKML Broadcast Station. If you've fast travelled there, turn around and enter the house to the southwest. Head to the basement. You'll find the Big Guns Bobblehead in the safe.

Above: You can pick up a pile of spare caps once you find the Big Guns Bobblehead

Raven Rock is in the very northwest corner of the world map. But you'll need to wait until you've completed enough of the main story quests to enter the facility. Go left after you leave Cell 4, and make your way up the stairs to area 3B. Pass the messhall, and head up the stairs to area 2A. Turn left once you enter the lab and continue on to area 2B. When you see the door to area 2C, head into the room across the hall from it, and check the desk for the Energy Weapons Bobblehead.

WARNING: If you continue through the door to area 2C, you'll miss the chance to collect this Bobblehead FOREVER. Watch the video below to make sure you grab it before moving on

WKML Broadcast Station is directly south of Fort Constantine and west of Paradise Falls. Use your local map to find the Sealed Cistern entrance just south of the radio station.

Above: It's easy to miss this entrance even if you know where to look. Use your local map to reveal its location

Note about the Strength Bobblehead
Lucas Simm's house is locked. To get in...
- Pick the lock
- Pickpocket the key from Lucas Simms
- Kill Lucas Simms for the key
OR
- Accept the quest to blow up Megaton and rat out the guy in the Saloon to Lucas Simms. Follow Lucas Simms to the Saloon and watch the guy who wants you to blow up Megaton kill Lucas Simms.

You can get the medicine Bobblehead after you leave Vault 101 in the beginning, but you have to wait a bit.

I know this is not realated to any of the Bobbleheads but, Where is paladin Gunney??? I keep asking who can train me, they tell me hes near the lab at GNR but Where is the lab??? Ive completely circled the GNR every room and thesre isnt a lab. A little help please.

Paladin Gunney is found in the Citadel, not GNR.

It looks like you're able to use the PIP Boy as a flashlight, but I don't see the key to activate it in the game settings. Is this some kind of unlockable?
Samael  - 1 year 1 day ago
@bamb0o

No its not an unlockable thing. In the 360 version you just hold down the B button. If you're playing PC, try holding down whatever the Pip-boy button is.

There are actually three chances of grabbing the medicine bobblehead.

A) During the tutorial

B) In the quest ESCAPE!

C) In the quest where you return to Vault 101

Hey Tyler, thanks a lot for the guide!

This is Bart's younger brother.

Are you guys planning on making a map of the entire main land?
