I never Subscribed to EGM (I get Game Informer) but this is very sad. I picked up their magazine afew times and would of subscribed if not for my other subscribtion. I hope the people can find jobs elsewhere.

i remember an answer egm posted to an angry fan who complained because they said that bass was not a real instrument....that answer wa funny as hell ROFL i still remember it and will remember egm very fondly

It surprises me that nobody has mentioned the April Fool's hoax of 1992.

This is how I remember EGM... The power and the influence of their publishing allowed the world to go completely ape over a gag. I enjoyed my time with EGM, and it hurts me to know that they are now gone.

EGM takes me back to my child. I'm deeply sadden that the magazine is going tits up... So many jobs lost.

It was my second favorite magazine next to GamePro.
