totally agree with the comments of dragon age... that trailer managed to make me alot less excited about the game, lol. Stick with what you do best bioware, not a jackass screaming and cliche cgi... instead of ya know gameplay that would have had a much more favorable reaction

I am on the Anti-L4D2 bandwagon... I don't care about the daytime levels or the character look, and no, I don't think Valve is going to screw me. Its just that Valve promised us more content and the Survival pack really was not it. It was a new game mode (and yes a lighthouse level, blah blah) and little else. Valve said there would be new weapons (absent), new game modes (present), new characters (absent), and most of all new movies (absent). That is what I am upset about.

All you haters are going to buy L4D2, because simply, its going to be an improvement. On top of that it will be the newest installment and the original L4D's online population will drop instantly. Also I can't see why that "boycott" group is making complaints about the characters not being interesting looking, or whatever. Games take fucking work to make and fat ass fanboy's should take notice to that little fact.

Again, what's with the PC Gamer Valve fanboyism?
The detractors have made several - some major, game-crippling - criticisms of L4D2, and you just casually brush them aside as "crybaby[s]".
To be honest, this, and all your other comments about how it's going to be great and all the fans are going to come crawling back, just strikes me as completely arrogant and failing to see the facts.
Your counter-argument seems to essentially come down to "Well, Valve made some other things that were good, so this'll be good too".

wait 1 minuite no gears of war or god of war those are the best games in history also in my opinion Fallout 3 should get best RPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRAP!

Couple of gripes:
1. mass effect 2 best of show ? Really... did you guys not even see god of war 3, oh wait thats right you guys were glued to the MS side of the building.
2. Valve is quickly becoming afflicted by consoleitis, when a dev goes to the console, all products heareafter become less than they could be. L4D2 won't even get a glimpse from me.
3. Where is HL2:episode 3, hasnt it been like 2 years ? Its been 5 years since HL2 came out, we deserve the damn episode already.
All that said, good article and Alan Wake looks cool

another halo........HELL to the YEAH!!! even thogh its a yeah away and i am pretty intrested in the story line but im not sure if i would read the novels oh and halo ODST better...have....SKULLS and new multiplayer armor or i'll be pissed and let down.
