From what I've heard the new Metroid mixes both 1st/3rd person perspectives. If you watch the trailer it definitely switches.

Oh goddamn FFXIV. I do not like MMOs and I gotta admit, FFXI was a big disappointment.

*sigh* FF Versus XIII anyone?

Good to see the terrible Dragon Age: Origins stuff recognised. I mean seriously. As mentioned, I'm interested in the game for it's story, interactiveness and dialogue trees.
I don't give a crap about being a grey warden or killing goblins and other cliché monsters. Flashy CG to bad rock music does nothing for me.

It was hard enough to get past the games awful, awful name.

People are actually going to boycott L4D 2. So much fail. I mean, I don't think this is the right move for vlave, but they seem to think so and they have been in their line of work a lot longer than I have.
Best of show being mass effect 2 was the most justified thing I saw. The entire thing was good, don't get me wrong, but Mass Effect 2 was BEAST!!!

i remember the first time i played mass effect...i didnt even realize i wasnt in a cutscene when i was talking, the game is like a movie. and now theyve improved it even more?! this game is a definite buy, and i know everything about it will be great. and maybe theyll have a new titty-bar!

Wow. Really you thought the Halo:Reach announcement was bad? Also dont make yourself seem like a retard by bad talking books. You ride Nintendos nuts for not catering to Hardcore fans and yet Bunjie does just that by making a prequal to Halo:CE and building upon the story that fans of the games and books like myself will love and suddenly they suck because they arnt focusing on the mainstream. You guys just cant fucking decide what you want can you? Also how the fuck do you find the Halo story line that hard to follow. Maybe if you would read a book everyonce in a while you wouldnt find it that hard to follow a real plotline.

Also its not strange to announce a new Halo title for next year because ODST is just an expansion of Halo:3 so that would mean it will be 3 years between the releases of Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. Of course if a new halo didnt come out for three more years you would probably bitch about that as well.

The Halo novels i would argue are just as good if not better then the games and i would recommend them to anyone who likes the game. They do a way better job of expanding the story then the game does.

If Halo: Reach is like the novel i will defiantly play it. The Spartan's last stand should make for a very impressive gaming experience

Hey, if A Boy and His Blob gets some love, then why not a game like Scribblenauts? That game is just epic from how much is possible.

And hey, come on... Silent Hill for Wii is pretty damn cool.

I just guess there's too much to cover...
Good article though.

I enjoyed Mass Effect so much but it prob had to do with that I bought the CE edition with Amazon getting it on launch day for 80 bucks. You know Mass Effect 2 is going to be SICK. Alan Wake, ITS GREAT to finally see it in action. I remember reading about that in OXM like a year ago lol. Entertaining article as always guys.

How many games supported the balance board?

Might be picking up Left 4 Dead today to get to know the game instead of waiting for Part 2.I was most excited for God of War 3,Halo 3 ODST,a little bit of M.A.G,the announcment of Halo Reach and the biggest announcment (imo) of Crysis 2 hitting consoles with the new Cryengine 3.

i disagree with the least awesome demo award. Modern Warfare 2 looked like the most promising thing at E3. then again, we all knew itd be good, so i guess the demo was pretty much expected. and the new metroid sounds cool, but im not gonna by a wii for it. a new 2d metroid would have been nice :(
