E3 08: Nintendo E3 98 Vs Nintendo E3 08

How does Nintendo's line-up at this year's E3 compare with 10 years ago?

Words: Matt Cundy, GamesRadar UK

Nintendo's E3 line-up is so crushingly lightweight this year that it's left us feeling depressed. In fact, we're so depressed that we've gone to the bother of digging up a list of the games that Nintendo was actively promoting at E3 in 1998, just so we could compare them with this year's official line-up and subsequently have a moan about how things aren't as good as they used to be 10 years ago.

As you can see from the two line-ups below, things aren't as good as they used to be 10 years ago:

What a difference a decade makes. It's a bloody tragedy. We miss you Old Nintendo. New Nintendo isn't the same.

Oh please show SMG2 or a new Zelda for this year...
Anyway, 2006 was an epic lineup, even compared to 98.

i know this is an old post, but rhythm heaven and animal crossing were very good games, motion plus looks amazing. you can't say the original conker is any different than kirby in cute factor. i mean they changed him to a foul mouth god, but still. and nba courtside and mlb were terrible on 64. so all i'm saying is this page isn't games radar quality or very well thought out.
