This really saddens me, a real dissapointment. I,ve seen all of the trailers, except that last one, and hell the game looks almost done. DNf does not stand for "Duke Nukem Forever", but Did Not Finish. "Always bet on Duke" turned out to be a phrase that i can not "bet" on anymore. I love Duke games, been a fan FOREVER, loved Duke 3D and Duke Nukem:Zero hour. Now all i have to remeber his legacy by is Duke Nukem 3D on the Xbox live arcade. I can hope 4 another developer, fans of Duke hopefully, to pick the game up and finish the damn thing already, but it's unlikely. RIP Duke, u will be missed. Hail 2 the King BABY!
you know, I kind of grew up with Duke, so when I heard 3D Realms had closed down, I died on the inside a little. DNF could still be revived, but... it won't be the same without 3D Realms logo stamped on the corner (if it could still see the light of day.)I still think, even if they didn't finished and took Forever to make new gameplay footage and trailers, they did their best and it was worth it to just have a taste of what could've been a revival of a great franchise. Thanks GR for this little article on most of our childhoods relived waiting for DNF.
Totally sucks DNF = Do Not Finish. I grew up on Duke Nukem, and although I gave up on DNF a LONG time ago, I was always hoping that maybe it would see the light of day. Guess not.
Take-Two must be the dumest company in the world, letting 3D Reals work on a game for 12 years, jesus.
If you wait 12 years for a game, this is what normaly happens, !!!!!!it never comes out("and you lose money")!!!!!.
