There was a funny line in the Gears of War book, Aspho Fields, where Colonel Hoffman speculated that the Locust breed by rape. Think, Berserkers are the females in the race. Would they willingly do the horizontal monster mash (which is a surprisingly accurate statement)?

Being disabled myself I feel there aren't nearly enough badass "challenged" individuals in gaming , movies and real life!

Some of my mentally disturbed brethren are easily twice as dangerous as the completely healthy and a wheelchair is a great way to smaggle gun and blade parts onto plabes and boats for a quick hijacking under the cover of custom's sympathy.

Good article GR, just less patronising next time-you really don't want to be first against the wall come the disabled revolution, do you?

BTW, Holly Summers was quality and I killed The End the lazy way last time!

What about the Wheelchair boss in the Warriors? I can't remember his name but it took me a couple tries to get him down.

don't forget how on metal gear solid 1 and basically the same one called the twin snakes, revolver ocelot loses his right arm, but is still deadly when he tortures snake by shocking him half to death, although he technically recieves a new arm on the second one, which turns out to be liquid's right arm which should have been infected with foxdie since that was how liquid died, yet he lives over 4 years with an infected arm before finally dying on the 4th mgs from foxdie. i have to say that the end is extremely old, yet can run like an active young adult. if he wins, you fall unconscious and he drags you back to granin's lab. if you wait a week, he dies from natural causes. remember what the boss said, "normally, he's dead, but he'll awaken when the time is right".

another kind of person to add is every single zombie in almost every single video game since you can shoot off their limbs (or their head) and yet they still come at you.

finally big boss has only one eye, but that made no difference. i still do not understand how he lost that eye. did ocelot whack his eye, did the bullet become lodged in his eye or was it the gun powder because i notice the bullet misses his eye, it wasn't even close enough to scratch him.

sorry for the long messages but the end is extremely easy if you follow his trail every time he runs. with stealth and the end's uniform on, he'll never see you. i once beat him in the main area and the area above. he didn't escape, i just kept shooting even after he started running.

i'm guessing mgs4solidsnake never got the moss uniform from the end nor his mosin nagant since you need to non lethally kill him to recieve the gun, and sneak up behind him and yell freeze and point at his head 3 times during the sniping battle to make him give you the camouflage. strangely i found the snake you need to get to have the infinity facepaint at the end of the game in the first mousetrap i dropped, took only 15 seconds.

I would have suggested master cheif. Ever wonder why he wears a helmet all the time? it's not only for protection, but also to prevent people seeing his cripplingly ugly face. seriously, he must have been sitting in the ugly tree one day, fell, and hit every branch on the way down. But over all, i agree with the article.
