Boiling down The Burning Crusade

The top 15 things you need to know about WoW's hot new expansion

Words: Sarah Borger, GamesRadar US

11. Choose your Scryor/Aldor faction carefully. You'll be hated by one by the time you're friendly with the other, so changing sides is a long and painful process. Briefly, Aldor is for dps-casters/sword rogues/tailors and Scryor is for dagger rogues/healers. There's a ton of material on either side out there, so do a little research before picking!

12. Loneliest written words: Hunter/Warlock/Rogue Looking For Group, Anything.

13. Yes, at 70 you can basically solo the level 60 5-mans. Yes, you can 10-man Onyxia.  Remember that courier patrol in Eastern Plaguelands? Yeah, you can gank them too.

14. You will curse Blizzard for negating a year of 40 man raids with $40 and two days of expansion play. Then, you'll see how cool the tier four gear looks, which leads us to number 15.

15. You will curse Blizzard for making the attunement quests that unlock the end game raids so frustrating. But you'll do them anyway.

Each zone has its little quirks. Next week, we'll look at Hellfire Peninsula (bad Fei Fei, bad) and Zangarmarsh (yes, the spore bats really do have eyes, we swear), the quests and instances there, and continue on through all seven of the new zones. We'll also be taking a look at the Draenei and Blood Elves, how to level your professions, and the new end game raids. After you've memorized our top 15, click here to check our archive page for Window to Wow.
