that video made me laugh

maybe its because i cant take superheros seriously (expect for watchmen, if you can call them superheros)... it could be a good game still

Oh man, I wanna watch it! But for a singleplayer only game, the spoilers are usually worth saving.

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

The scarecrow section where you restart as the Joker taking Batman in was one of the creepiest things I've played since Silent Hill 2 and Eternal Darkness. Incredible game.

finished the game, a freaking masterpiece, now working on the collectables and the riddlers riddles that’s a whole another game in itself

Don't worry, there are plenty of twists and sub-plots I had to skip over to fit the video into 90 seconds. The basic plot is typical superhero fare, but the way it's told via the medium of the game is amazing.

SPOILER COMMENT

I also loved the third Scarecrow battle, since he basically hacks the game, having the game announce, "Did you catch the game last night?", at which point the game screen freezes, then the opening begins again, except everywhere criminals were before, the good guys are now, and vica versa, even hacking the "Retry or quit" screen, telling you to use your "middle stick" to dodge Joker's bullet, and Scarecrow later saying you have taken enough doses to drive 10 men insane. Strangely enough, the toughest boss battle wasn't the final one against Joker, but the second to last one against Poison Ivy (I played on easy and died my first time through, although I was only killed by the very last attack she made (literally!)). I know that I am going to keep playing it for a long time, long after I get every trophy except for the higher difficulty ones (I would just load the final battle on a higher difficulty, but with this game, you either go all in or you don't do anything (can only load games (same difficulty and place as you started) or create new save files (and games) from the main menu, which I must say is very ingenious, since it saves often). Also, I completed more than half of the Riddler's challenges and Spirit of Arkham stones before facing Joker. (P.S. ALWAYS knock out Joker's goons (unless you have to be stealthy to succeed in the stroy mission, like you have to do with Gordon, some scientists, and possibly a few other times in-game (although I always just hunted them one by one), whether they are dangling precariously over an endless pit (who built those pits in the first place?) or trapped in a room with a gun on their head.

My favorite moments in the story both include big hits: Batman using a rocket and a few tons of steel to break Bane once and for all, and when he applied explosive gel (that is proximity triggered) to his fist just after Super Joker climbed out of a live generator to pummel Batman, but getting knocked out cold by an really "explosive" punch. Also, for those of you who want to know more about Batman without reading an origin comic or seeing one of his lame movies, this is the game for you (if you are a good enough gamer to make it to the second Scarecrow battle, that is).

Overall, you COULD rush through the storyline in about 10 hours or so, but this game is so beautiful with so many extra challenges and riddles to solve that you will probably be playing (even without multiplayer or DLC (the developers say, in game, DLC is coming) over a 100 hours later.

Also, if you are someone who constantly needs hints in game, the "Retry or quit" screen gives small hints on how to beat the section you are at, and the bottomless pits, plant gas, and Joker gas don't instantly kill you, instead letting you escape by hitting the top right bumper/button (water instantly resets you), so if you miss, you can always try again from very close to where you failed, speeding up your game in the process.
