in dead rising, if you get the (sigh) 'true' ending, then it looks as though frank is canned food. BUT if you play the secondary mode you then unlock, it shows that Frank was in fact saved! but then, what do you get as the final ending? Frank slouching on a goddamn tank- i cant for the life of me understand why he doesn't even TRY driving it, bu hey, whatever. oh, and THEN it says that Frank managed to make it out alive somehow (?). Thanks for the details, Capcom!

What about Ace Combat 6 ?! All you get for saving a god forsaken country is seeing your wing man on a f---ing wheelchair, talking about his new life?! They clould have at least shown your character in full view at the end talking to him.

I was serously ripped off at the end.

I don't have a problem with Fallout 3's ending now because I know Broken Steel is coming out and it continues from the ending of Fallout 3.

"I still think Final Fantasy VII is up there with lamest endings, because WTF? I devoted 80 hours of my life to grinding through the game, investing in the characters, and I get almost no resolution. I wasn't even sure the world survived the ending of Final Fantasy VII."

I fucking hated FFVII's ending. It was so horrible that it necessitated the creation of a shitty sequel cg movie that didn't resolve anything beyond the fact that everyone says "hmph" alot and Vincent still desperately needs a new pair of shoes.

when i rented spider man 3, i got bored of it in 2 or even 1 day. its too easy and is pointless to finish after defeating sandman and venom. also. i agree, wheres harry and peter's brotherly love (when not actually brothers) sequence? they had that on the movie but not on the game.

I actually liked the ending in Mirrors Edge. Halo 2 really pissed me off, so bad I said screw Halo 3.

I agree with u guys bad endings suck, but bad role playing endings are inexcusable. I just gave up 10% of my life span playing 4 a crappy short ending! HELL NO!!

You either dont own an Xbox 360 and are jealous but could never admit it out loud or you have ZERO taste in games. Dead Rising was and still is an excellent game. It just has a crap ending.

Oddly enough, I gotta say World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade has a lame ending. After you kill Illidan, BOOM!, you have 1/60 of a chance to get warglaives, if you can even use it. Plus after you kill him and talk to some NPC's, they act like he's still alive...
Definately a contender for a WTF ending as well.
