You forgot SCUMMVM, which means the ENTIRE LIBRARY OF LUCASARTS ADVENTURE GAMES! Yes, it does require a jailbroken iphone/ipod touch, but its totally worth it to carry all three Monkey Island games in your pocket, and the controls for it are surprisingly well thought out; for example, wherever you place our finger acts as a virtual joystick while the cursor moves elsewhere across the screen.
Oh, and I would also reccomend the GBA Emulator just so you can play the fan-translated Mother 3 (hey, I'll actually pay for it when Nintendo gets the stones to release it here, which brings another question: why don't they just use the already-awesome fan translation?)
@ styrophoamicus - Good suggestion! Can't believe I hadn't heard about that one. I also wish I had fit the Capcom apps in there, like Resident Evil and Mega Man 2.
@ oreomonkey - Ugh, Zombieville USA was such a waste of my money. It's so damn repetitive, even for an iPhone game! And last time I played, you STILL couldn't save your progress.
If only I had AT&T, ummm enough money to blow on an iphone or the necessity to have a mobile phone lol. I'd grab Spore on the iphone for sure, that was one of my favorite steps in the PC version.
Had to sign up just to ask how could you not know of the awesomeness that is GeoDefense?
I was first introduced to tower defense style games with ninjatown. For only $2.99 GeoDefense is an excellent on the go game. I love the art style. Its very geometry wars like.
Vay original required a Genesis and rather large, expensive CD add-on to play. Now it's on a phone (albeit a rather expensive one.) Welcome to the future!
The ocarina app is cool, but it's worth noting that people who actually play the ocarina are going to be frustrated. Mostly because of the lack of thumb holes. I wish that was a problem that could be fixed, but it isn't. Most songs on a four hole ocarina need thumbholes. I'm just saying. for cosplay and such and never get played.
