Good grief, once again the rabid anti-Americans show their true semi-racist colours!
The USA is a great nation that's given the world an awful lot. So is Britain. And both countries have made huge mistakes in the last hundred years. So no-one here should be claiming any kind of national moral superiority.
By the way, Obama is not a god. I think some of you should try repeating that a few times over. British people thought Blair was the messiah, and we know how that turned out.
Some strong feelings here eh? I'm British, proud of my country. I admire America for going from a collection of colonies to the powerhouse it is today (read Crazy Horse and Custer by Stephen Ambrose - you'll be impressed). Likewise I admire Britain for staving off non-stop invasions and forging a world-spanning empire over hundreds of years, all from a tiny island. No amount of immature xenophobia will change those facts.
I don't dislike America. They have made major mistakes, but so has pretty much every other country. I just get annoyed when Americans either call themselves underdogs or act as if they're the best. Everyone is equal and country has nothing to do with who you are since in the end countries are made by people, not the other way around
Great article but I don't agree with the one about Halo, in Fall of Reach I'm pretty sure it stated that the Human forces tried organise a peace between them and the Covenant. Also I've heard American, English and Australian accents in the Halo games.
