I find it very surprising that Starcraft 2 isn't on this list, given that it's probably one of the most highly anticipated games of all time. Or maybe you've just learned better than to imply that a Blizzard game will be released anywhere in the near future.

That's absolutely brilliant - all the publishers remove their games from the Christmas shopping season, when people are jammed shoulder-to-shoulder into the malls, and give us a huge glut of games in Jan-Mar, where they can compete furiously with each other when nobody wants to spend any money anyway.
