how did it get so cheap? and why did they stop making PS3's without they Memory Stick Pro Duo and SD card slots? It's so not fair!!!

Not backwards compatable with PS2 games at ALL? That's like dumping your chubby girlfriend (who gives head), for a skinnier one that DOESN'T!!! :o

Some really good questions by Sabtos.
I wouldn't mind knowing about whether they have taking into consideration the hot-swap HDD concept for existing users changing down. I can't imagine it would be an issue because the firmware is the same.
If it makes less of the Boeng 747 noise mine does at the moment then I am in, but not for at least another year, I can't see why I would want to swap my existing fully functioning one with it.

acedynamo is a dum ass along wiv the 360 fanboys. all the 360 does is play games and standerd dvd where as the ps3 does BLU RAY dvds, 1080p HD games, motion sensitive controlers, no batteries 4 the controlers, it has a web browser, the onlines is free. and b4 u say the 360s sold more than the ps3 so it must b betta, the reason 4 tht is the 360 came out a year b4 the ps3 and it came out at xmas so wht do u expect

ill stick with reliable chubby its just as good the new 1 is lighter but i dont plan 2 carry it round 2 much

i was thinking of getting a ps3 but now this is here i can wait another month or two. but it dose look a bit plasticy. its a bit shit that u cant play ps2 games on it because i have about 100 which i dont use because the ps2 has too many cables so this is prefect. i didnt no that there was a new ps3 coming out or even that sony were even work on a new ps3 at all but i so happy that they did.

if it's not backwards compatible, i don't wanna know about it. i have clocked WAY too much time playing DMC to give up my ps2 games

The thing is with these slim models like with the ps2 thier is no point in buying one if you already have the fat versionbecause s waste of $300 but if your buying it first time then you might aswell. And i still prefer the old one this new slim one looks like the old ps2 slim so it just makes it look older
