Lol, it's true, in shooters you pretty much are just a camera with a gun taped to the side of it. Honestly, the gun doesn't stick out of your shoulder fully forward. The only way that really works is in the Metroid Prime games, that gun is at least somewhat realistically placed. And yeah, lag and waiting....and waiting....and waiting....really pisses me off.
