Sega released the best trailer from last year - a Grindhouse-style look at the latest in the on-rails shooter. Got us excited.

71) Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time – Wii, DS
Link up and fight beasties with a few buddies, no matter which version you’re playing. Pretty sure some chocobos will be involved. And crystals.

72) 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand – PS3, 360
Screw America’s armed forces, what we really need is a rapper to fight our battles for us. Also, with the new cover system, Fiddy’s latest jaunt looks surprisingly good.

73) Borderlands – PC, PS3, 360
Four-player co-op FPS RPG with Max Max-style racing, randomly-generated environments and over 600,000 weapons? Developed by Gearbox? Hot damn, we’re sold.

74) Forza Motorsport 3 – 360
Sequel to the awesome Forza series, Numero Tres includes more real-world cars and tracks, including new race modes like drag and drift.

75) This is Vegas – PC, PS3, 360
An open-ended sandbox with gambling, racing, fighting and partying, This is Vegas is more Vegas than other games that claim to be Vegas.

76) The Wheelman – PS3, 360
Vin “Marbles in Mouth” Diesel lives his life a quarter-mile at a time as he battles his way through a destructible Barcelona. He also lives for this shit (those were Fast and the Furious/XXX references).

77) Velvet Assassin – PS3, 360
Inspired by real life WWII secret agent, you take the role as saboteur Violette Summer and battle the German war machine in this game with an impossibly cool title.

78) Rhythm Heaven Gold – DS

The sixth best-selling game of Japan in 2008, RH Gold is a sequel to WarioWare’s forefather. Music-based twitch games galore.

79) Phantasy Star Portable – PSP
Phantasy Star Portable is responsible for revitalizing the PSP in Japan (currently the 14th best selling game of 2008 there). New title includes four-player coop.

The latest team-based RTS from Gas Powered Games (creators of Supreme Commander/Dungeon Siege) enables you to play as a single unit or under the guise of multiple units. You can also fight with giant dinosaurs and robots.

81) Legends of Wrestlemania – Multi
Play as the steroid-addled wrasslers of yesteryear with a stripped-down SmackDown control scheme and an 80s flavored TV presentation, brother.

Sequel to EA’s skating revolution, upgrades include double the amount of tricks, the ability to get off your board and choice of female skaters to play as.

Rise to power and take out all other wise guy’s in a 10-square mile city modeled after New York and San Francisco.

87) Empire: Total War – PC
Choose a faction in the 1700s and battle to ensure dominance over the known world with a combination of espionage, force and diplomacy. Fifth installment in the Total War series.

88) Star Ocean: The Last Hope – 360
Square Enix’s latest in the SO series takes place after humanity decimated itself in WWIII. Includes the ability to pilot your ship this time.

89) Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard – PS3, 360
Tongue-in-cheek parody action game featuring Hazard, a hell of a lot of bullets and voiceovers from Will Arnett/Neil Patrick Harris.

90) Resistance Retribution – PSP
Retribution takes place between the PS3 installments and tasks you with destroying more of the Chimera. Those guys are assholes, trust us.

91) Madden 2010 – Everything
Your collective big brothers will ensure the videogame industry rakes in a few hundred million dollars this year if they purchase the latest in Madden.

92) The Godfather II – PS3, 360
Even if Aldo - the first game’s protagonist - dies moments into the second game, expect improved open world sandbox violence from the Corleones.

93) Terminator Salvation – PS3, 360
Based off this summer’s sequel, Terminator Salvation puts you in the shoes of John Connor against emerging cyborgs in the post-apocalypse.

96) UFC Undisputed 2009 – PS3, 360
Developed by Yuke’s (known for amazing wrestling engines), UFC Undisputed may actually be the first good game in the MMA franchise. Here’s hoping.

97) The Third Birthday – PSP
Originally in development for cell phones, this marks the third Parasite Eve game (remember that action/RPG series?) We welcome back Aya and her insane powers.

98) Ninja Blade –360
Monsters are terrorizing the city! Good thing there’s a ninja badass nearby to cleave them in twain in this intense cinematic-action game.

99) Phantasy Star Zero – DS
Based on the Phantasy Star Online series, fight with your friends through glorious sci-fi dungeons. You can even communicate with pictures using PictoChat. Neat.

100) Flower, Sun and Rain – DS
Enhanced remake of Suda 51’s PS2 puzzler. Explore an island resort and solve mysteries while trapped in a time loop. If it’s anything like Suda’s other games, we’re sold.
