i actually never failed that gta mission lol. but i could NEVER beat the fucking rc missions!!!! but the worst gamerage i ever got was in the first god of war when your trying to escape hades and those fucking spinning walls with the spikes on em!!! i get past the first one after probably 30 tries, yell in triumph only to find a longer harder one waiting next!!! i havnt played that game since lol
Lol the rc missions from gta i forgot about those! Had no prob with big smoke tho. Couldn't get past the first two horsemen on Ninja Gaiden, sad i know. The two death stars at the end of rogue squadron 2 on the cube, blew one up but only ever got the other down to it's last shield. Ruby weapon from FF7 never did beat that and how about the Sorrow from MetalGear3 lmao or should i say Aaaargh. Nice articale
now i havent play SF4, but if seth is harder than jinpachi thats probly best. one time i got so mad i lost control of my breathing and i had to go lay down. freakin chest beam
God. When I played that one TFU level with the Star Destroyer, I wanted to rip out my Xbox's internal processing system, make it into a lightsaber, and strangle cut off George Lucas' face off.
I crushed a PS2 controller in my hands trying get Tidus's ultimate weapon in Final Fantasy 10. That chocobo race either took you three tries, or 14 hours without a break of 30 second races. I've never been filled with so much rage in my life as I had been when trying to get that clock to 0'00". I'm shocked that FFX didn't make the list.
these games gave me gamer rage:
-god of war vs ares on hard
-killzone 2 veteran/elite final battle 2nd wave & tank on tharsis train
-re4 qt events out of nowhere frickin cheap
-devil may cry 1 dmd vs nightmare
Certainly not a Top-10 game on anyone's list, but Driver 2 had my top gamer rage moment that ultimately kept me from ever beating the game. I played through the story and on the next-to-last mission, you had to follow an enemy vehicle and destroy it under a time limit. Not too difficult, right? Wrong, when you consider the near indestructability of the other car and the fact that it could only take damage when you touched it with your car. After many failed attempts, I finally managed to ram the enemy car into a tree only to watch as his damage gauge did not budge the slightest. So, I go to ram him while he's jammed against the tree, only to have him shake loose as I close in, causing me to hit the same tree and total my car. My PS1 controller exploded as it hit the floor, the R1 and R2 buttons narrowly missing my face. The game has never been allowed near any of my consoles since, but I refuse to dispose of it in hopes that I'll spare someone else a similar fate.
@heyexclamationpoint
Which part? The near impossible jump to get out of the dam, or the timed swim through trap infested water to disarm the bombs? Of course, hard as that was, I found the blind jump with the wrong enemy set in the sewers in the level after the dam to be what took me 10 years to beat that game.
The TIE fighter last summer and Seth this year, were 2 of the biggest controller throwing moments of my gaming career... The force grip lock on in FU was so horribly flawed, psy-ops for the PS2 handled better than that. And before i got good at SF4 getting repeatedly spinning piledriven by seth got so god damn frustrating i had to take my ass online just to loose in a less stressful way... Good article.
Star wars is filled me with so much hate at the time.
But how could you leave out Ninja Gaiden that game made want to Team ninja's building with a samuri sword and go wild. Thise freakin guys whi shot what? 15 rockets every 2 seconds.... think I broke my headset or something lol
general raam (Gear of War) it took me close to a dozen times on hardcore to dispose of him, my xbox controller bounced off the floor at least three times lol.
Most recently ai sheva (Resident Evil 5) she loves getting herself killed.
What i need is an ground to blue turtle shell missile. And the star destroyer is just stupid. Why is it not coming down when even the game says i'm holding it right i ask you?!?! Cause it's dumb
yeah i remeber that stupid part on mgs3 sometimes i forgot to feed her because i was to far from her and one time i was so far she got shot to death. this happened almost every single time
Biggest pain in the arse I've ever had to deal with in a game is in Starfox Adventures. You're flying on a Cloudrunner and have to hit four corner pillars with your blaster as you fly round on-rails with projectiles flying at you. Nightmare!
