Hitman: Agent 47 - the latest movie adaptation for the iconic, bald-headed assassin - is hitting cinemas next month. Inside the latest issue of Total Film magazine, there's a full set visit in Berlin, giving you a real scoop on the reboot. For a further taster, we’ve landed three exclusive images, which you can check out above.
This time out, Rupert Friend (Homeland) stars in the title role, sporting the black suit/red tie combo that has become the character’s trademark. In the antagonist role (although we’re assured nothing is quite as clear-cut as it seems) is Star Trek’s Zachary Quinto, in his first full-on action role.
And rounding out the central trio is Hannah Ware’s Katia, a mysterious drifter who’s pursued by 47 and Quinto’s John Smith. Her background is shrouded in secrecy, but it seems as though it’ll be her arc that defines the film’s structure.
Check out the exclusive images in the gallery above, featuring Friend and Quinto in a standoff in a German subway, Quinto getting his best menacing glower on, and Friend and Ware chatting to director Aleksander Bach on set.
Hitman: Agent 47 opens in the UK on August 27, after opening in the US on August 21. For much more on the film, check out the latest issue of Total Film, on sale now!.
