Epic Mickey 2 coming to PS Vita

Touch to paint and local Wi-Fi co-op in portable port

Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will paint its way onto PlayStation Vita later this year, according to the European PlayStation Blog. The co-op action adventure game stars Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in an imaginative return to Disney's cartoons of yesteryear.

The Vita version will use the system's touch screen for precision painting, tilt controls for racing, and a Wi-Fi co-op mode for local players. We were not particularly impressed by Epic Mickey 2 when it appeared on home consoles, but perhaps some technical issues will be cleared up in the port.

We're not sure who is responsible for the Vita version, as developer Junction Point Studios shut down earlier this year.
