Political intrigue, Civil wars, etc...or am I the only one who wants this?

A console release is, in my opinion, a must. I was introduced to TES through Morrowind on the xbox, and have played both Oblivion and Skyrim on my PS3. I've played both on PC, but I just don't enjoy it as much. On top of that, my computer couldn't possibly run TES:O. It hardly ran Skyrim.

    I want to serve Sheogorath.

i think they should have an arena type PvP

I totally agree about the console release. Even though I'll be playing on PC myself, it would still bring in a huge playerbase. Cross platform play would be cool too - I don't see a huge issue with console or PC players having an advantage over each other in any way.

I'm calling the main factions now, Akaviri, Aldmeri Dominion and the remainder of the Cyrodilic Empire. If im right I will be very happy.

i know it would simply be aesthetic, but what if some places such as certain inns or other gathering areas were guild/group specific to enter, however you could enter with a friend who was part of that guild as long as they were with you? it would be a small thing but help immersion and give certain places a true sense of exclusivity/clandestine feel

In theory because of it's place in the timeline, the classes would include Snow Elves(before they became known as Falmer) And the Dwarfish Dwemer.

    No

But what happens when somebody breaks into your house and steals all your crap?

-Leaving combat how it is would be badass, but I guess it'd also make it kind of repetitive and after awhile.. -Guild/individual instanced housing would be nice. -definitely on consoles, the amount of people they'd get would be huge. with keyboard support for chatting and voice over xbox live party chat. -NO subscription! subscriptions kill it for a lot of people. -random events (i.e. an army of monsters marching towards the city gates and if you don't work together they'll wipe out all the important npc's inside, making you wait for them to respawn) -same customization options as previous elder scroll games -focus on first person mode -more crafting customization, weapon types/designs. Skyrim crafting felt really limited and not much to make. -Please keep the elder scrolls graphic style, don't go the asian looking style of aion or things like that.. yuck. -collectors edition with life size armor that you can actually wear and a real dragon.

Actually.. it looks like GI's article has already been leaked online,it details a bunch of stuff they're adding in.

Keep this away from consoles. Let them bug up one platform instead of all of them.

DC Universe Online worked? Is that way it was bombing and went F2P? Is that why PC Gamers dislike it's simplified controls? DC Universe failed in so many ways. Consoles simply can't deal with the mechanics of a real MMO without M+KB. Over simplifying a game doesn't equate to a great game. Public Quests are a dumb feature. Secondly, full VA work isn't required, never will be required. SWTOR isn't doing well so obviously Voice Acting isn't something gamers care about.

You were ok until you started a new paragraph and embraced the stupid wagon.

the Dwemer disapeared in around 1E 700 at the battle of Red Mountain. TES:O is one milenia beffore skyrim ence circa 2E 530 thats 2750 years later. the falmer where driven away (and underground and enslaved BY THE DWEMER unknowingly to most) when the Nords returned from Atmora, by Ysgrammor and his Five Hundreds. That was before the second century of the first Era which lasted 2920 years, which means they disapeared around 3250 years before TES:O.

Since the Arena was first built by Gaiden Shinji in roughly 1E 490 and TES:O is circa 2E 530, it's a given that there will b PvP in it but the way I see it outsides of designated battle arenas is this: Assault and Murder are pretty much illigal everywhere so if you attack some one in a city you would be tagged as a criminal and the guard NPCs (and any lawfull player) would attak you. If you commit a non-violent crime the guards will chase you and if you choose to fight or run it will end up the same way. but the guards will have to be better that the ones we've had. Also a safety button like in Fable would be very nice since it's gonna be crowded.

I bet that that it will only start with some provinces, and the rest will be expansions. That would be reasonable IMO. Re-creating such a vast world for the start would just be a bit much I think. I actually want to play this MMO, so long as it turns out much like this article is suggesting. It just seems impractical to expect the whole of Tamriel available from the outset, even if it makes sense when it comes to choosing races (choose a race, and you will start out in that race's home country by default).
