The invertebrate space-hero squirms back into the limelight

Of course, Jim is well-equipped to deal with all this stuff. As always, he can yank his wormy body out of the suit and whip it in any direction. This is useful for killing things, of course, but it's even better for snagging random hooks and swinging across chasms like Indiana Jones. And although he wasn't able to use it until a few seconds into the level, Jim can bust out his trusty, rapid-fire machine pistol to blast crows and over-amorous junkyard dogs into mucilage.

Jim's got a few new tricks up his sleeve, as well; instead of just jumping, for instance, he mostly just blasts around with a jetpack. It looks cool and it's fast, but controlling it can be a little difficult. He can also grab an armored vest for his armor, which seems redundant. Also, he can flatten himself against the ground and (sigh) do the worm, which is probably used for snaking into tight spaces.
