Frankly we're so hot for the 3DS and Uprising, Nintendo could have shown us three minutes of Reggie and the Shigger caressing each other tenderly and we'd have still hollered like morons. Thankfully, the trailer it did show us was a hell of a lot less disturbing than the image we've just served you up, displaying a frantic shooter that will no doubt be burnt into our corneas forever come next March. Oh and the sly apology from Pit to all the fans that have been begging for a new Kid Icarus game for years? Bravo, Nintendo. Bravo.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Just look at the little guy. All made of string and everything. Did you see how he just pulled back on the world like it was a bit of scrunched up newspaper? Bloody heart-melting. Sorry our conscious brains are shutting down. There's just too much damn adorable in here. D'awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Wellity, wellity, wellity, well. It looks like Isaac has discovered his larynx. This sequel to one of our favourite games of 2008 looks to raise the scares and scale of the set-pieces dramatically. C'mon, how amazing is that bit where he almost gets sucked out into the cold, uncaring vacuum of space at the end? That alone is better than the whole of Resi 5.
Half music video, half game trailer; all awesome. This is pretty much the only thing even vaguely connected to Kinect (Boom! Boom!) that we can muster any excitement over. Catchy, with an easy flow and incredible art style, this trailer almost washed away every unpleasant memory from that car crash of a conference. Oh and Skittles? You can officially go and meet yourself a nice big game hunter whenever you want.
Yeah, so nothing even close to the above video will be recreated in the game. But after five minutes of rousing John Williams music and awesome lightsaber action, we really couldn't care. Still not as good as Episode III, mind.
Any other videos from the show you loved? And while we're at it, what are some of your favourite game trailers of all time? GTA III? Metal Gear Solid 2? As long as you're not a shitting spam bot, put some words together in preferably semi coherent fashion in the comments section.
