X-Men: The Official Game

[DS] Its mutant power is the ability to make you yawn on command

So, no, playing this version doesn't feel any more X-Men-ish than the vapid console game, but at least it's an interesting touch-screen attempt. There's no mission deviation at all - break things, throw things, defuse things. A few hours of good times can be forced out if needed, especially on levels that have you swapping between all the characters (some enemies can't be hurt by certain X-Men, so you gotta sub in quick), but it's all so damn repetitive, you'll be too bored to see this through.

You'll love
  • Touch-screen attacks
  • Magneto exclusive
  • It's over in a few hours
You'll hate
  • Sleep-inducing missions
  • Powers not used very well
  • Grainy visuals
