The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Phantom Hourglass - video guide

Our video guide to Link's latest legend

To the ghost ship

With three powerful fairies in your employ, you now have a means to track the ghost ship and save Tetra. Point your boat back to the northwestern area and use the three fairies as a guide. Simply steer the ship until they begin to sparkle and eventually you'll bump into the g-g-ghost ship. Climb aboard for a fairly self-explanatory dungeon.

The goal is to save four curiously vague and unhelpful Cubus sisters. Each is on a different floor and won't walk if there are enemies nearby or if you get too far ahead. The only tricky spot we should have to mention is the order of the switches near the bottom of the boat - from left to right, the order is 2 4 5 1 3.

This dual-screen battle has you bouncing shots back at four villainous sisters - yep, the same four you just rescued. Follow the video's instructions and this will be no big deal. Retrieve a petrified Tetra from the ship's innards and you'll discover that Oshus is in fact the Ocean King. A new villain, Bellum, has depowered Oshus and seeks to overrun the world with evil.

A blacksmith in the northwestern sea will give you a new design to draw on the door in the Ocean King temple (the Triforce). Before you dive back in, however, talk to Oshus again on Mercay to get another Power Gem. Also, the bombable wall near the Ocean King temple contains an arrow-eye that will open a new path. Stand on the outside stairs to hit the second eye and a laser-spitting statue will rise. Point it in a north-westerly fashion, head to the cliff it's pointing to and bomb it. The path leads to Freedle and a Wisdom Gem.
