Chugging through The Incredible Hulk’s 30 side-scrolling levels is like running through a maze where all the walls are transparent: It looks like you can go anywhere, but really you’re being cordoned down a very specific path. SEGA of America, Inc. today announced that THE INCREDIBLE HULK video game has shipped to stores across North America. Based on both the Marvel Studios feature film being released in theaters on June 13, 2008 and the popular Marvel Comics series created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

SEGA expecting strong sales for The Incredible Hulk (News)

PSU writes: "SEGA has said that the publisher is expecting its upcoming movie tie-in The Incredible Hulk to turn in a solid performance when the game hits shelves this summer.

Speaking to MCV, Ben Payne, Product Manager for SEGA UK, commented: "The Incredible Hulk is Marvel's second biggest property, so awareness of the character is high. As usual, the success of any film tie-in video game is linked to the film itself."

"Thankfully this film is going to be massive, and is well timed, in that it gives Indy IV its deserved moment in the spotlight, and is released two weeks before Prince Caspian."

TVGB: "You've probably all seen the concept art above from The Incredible Hulk game, heard the news that Tony Stark will be making an appearance in the new Incredible Hulk movie and also heard that Hulkbuster armor will be making an appearance in the Iron Man game. Putting these three news items together one could easily jump the conclusion that Iron Man is going to make an appearance in the Hulk game. Well I'm here to tell you that that assumption would be completely and totally correct."

Coinciding with the new film, Sega has scheduled the release of the movie tie-in game, The Incredible Hulk, for June 2008 on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, PS2 and PC. The game will feature moments from the film, as well as additional plotlines and characters drawn from the Marvel universe.
