Nintendo is setting up Rhythm Heaven lounges around the country for people to be able to test out the game. The event actually started yesterday, but everyone was working on Friday and Saturday is when all the cool kids will be there anyway. Plus, for those in Chicago the party rolls in on Sunday too, so they can party twice in one weekend.

Nintendo and New York's Scratch DJ Academy will be hosting an invite only event for the new DS game, Rhythm Heaven. The event at the Scratch DJ Academy will take place on Thursday, April 9th. DJs Daddy Dog and DJay Jung will be teaching students how to apply some Rhythm Heaven to their live sets.

"Nintendo's hotly anticipated rhythm-based music game will be put to the test as consumers and eager beat-keepers gather at an exclusive invitation-only event at New York's Scratch DJ Academy for a night of game sampling and turntable spinning. Two days ago, reps from the company visited MTV News to deliver the game - and forced the game's recipient (me) to carry the tune. Bad move.

A smarter decision was having Beyoncé star in their official "Rhythm Heaven" TV commercial. The superstar singer recently granted Entertainment Weekly an interview that turned into a survey of her gaming tastes."
