In yet another generous move that we are probably beginning to become accustomed to, D3Publisher have compiled a free Walkthrough Guide for the forthcoming Puzzle Quest: Galactrix on NintendoDS.

D3Publisher of America announced today that Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, the latest addition to the beloved Puzzle Quest universe developed by Infinite Interactive, has shipped to retail across North America, for PC and DS - the PS3 and Xbox 360 version will be released later this year. The game incorporates a blend of casual and hardcore gameplay elements, similar to those featured in Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, into an all-new futuristic, science-fiction setting. In related news, GamersGate has announced that Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is also available via GamersGate digital distribution portal.
Last night, D3 cleared out the back of "Meltdown" Comics on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood to launch PuzzleQust: Galactrix. Carlos Macias of Kezins.com was on-site to report on the event and came back with photos and information from the event.
Electronic Theatre contacted D3 Publisher late last night to try and confirm these rumours, one way or another, and received the following statement in response first thing this morning:

"With most retail games clocking in at somewhere around 20 hours, the prospect of 30 to 60 gameplay hours for an Xbox Live Arcade Game is surprising. But Marcus Savino, producer of the upcoming title Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, tells us that's how long the game could take to complete."
D3Publisher of America is looking for volunteers to focus test the "next game in the Puzzle Quest franchise." If you live in the Los Angeles area and have played the original Puzzle Quest, contact lisa[at]mindofthegamer[dawt]com and place "Puzzle Quest Research" in the subject line.
Earlier this week, MTV Multiplayer wrote that Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, the sequel to Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, would be released on PC, DS, Xbox Live Arcade as well as the PSP and "possibly Apple Mac," all according to the official website. However, when they checked the next day, on Tuesday, February 26, the PSP and "possibly Apple Mac" versions were removed.
D3Publisher of America has picked up the distribution rights to both Puzzle Quest: Galactrix and Bangai-O Spirits.
